Satisfied With Your Love

It seems like I have not done anything much for you
But you've been doing too much for me
Too much, that I can't define how much I mean to you
It makes me feel so strong
Strong enough to hold onto something
Something that's gonna last for a lifetime
No, I guess forever

I want the world to know who you are
And how you are as my man
It may be ridiculous the way I react sometimes
But now, I am understanding more about us
Who am I to you, and who you are to me

I'll always be thankful that you've chosen to stay with me
I may have done immature things
But you've taught me how to be a better me
And for that "thank you"

"Cafe de Lipa" ala eh, atin areh :-)

"Alah, eh labas ang BARAKO" (with a very distinct accent) that is usually the shout of the drunken men in Batangas. Well, please don't get this wrong. Not all Batangeños are drunkards; men just use this as a practical joke to show their manhood. "BARAKO" means courageous and brave. It's where we derive the name of the very known "kapeng barako", a coffee with a very unique, strong taste.

And now I'm very proud about the newest coffee shop in town, the "Cafe de Lipa", not only because it's from my hometown which is Lipa City, but also from the fact that it's originally from our country--a "tatak Pinoy" Well, honestly I have always been fascinated about the things that can be called as our own. I mean the things which literally originated here in our country (nationalistic, that is how I must describe myself). And I am sure about a product which really started here. That is what I was talking about earlier, the incomparable "Kapeng Barako" Most people who have tasted the Barako would attest the different aroma it possess. It has a strong and full-bodied flavor. That is truly our own.

Cafe de Lipa started in the year 2005. They now have four branches,--three in Lipa City and one in Market Market, Taguig City. I went o their main branch just last Sunday with my best friend and the place was captivating. They have good interior design and you'll feel very cozy in the area. Aside from Barako Joe which is the highlight of the coffee shop, they also have Latte, Caffuccino, Amerikano and different iced coffeee variants. In addition to Café de Lipa’s version of a perfect cup of coffee is a wide array of pastries that is being offered by their stores such as calamansi crunch, tableya brownies, pili nut bars and moist barako brownies. They also have savory dishes like "tinapa" and "adobo" pate on pandesal.

As we all know, coffee is one of the many things that people nowadays cannot live without. I am one of them, since I grew up in the coffee capital of our country, I bet you are too, especially when you're working on a graveyard shift. It can keep you awake and energetic because of the caffeine it contains. It's also stimulating and addictive, that is why people always come back for more. One main reason why we can see "Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Gloria Jeans and many other coffee shops literally EVERYWHERE. So, why not patronize our own brand?
